About nine years ago, Allen Kasiewicz sold his engineering company that he had owned for 18 years. Looking for a place to invest the proceeds of the sale, he decided to purchase real estate. One of the properties he purchased was located on Route 3, the Daniel Webster Highway, in Belmont, N.H. The property is well located on one of the state’s most heavily traveled, non-divided highways. When Watchfire Digital Outdoor, a division of 70-year-old billboard manufacturer Time-O-Matic Inc., Danville, Ill., was launched last quarter to offer LED (light-emitting diode) billboard screens that support outdoor digital advertising, it hoped to capitalize on what it claims is a growing market.
